Bommai has announced many new projects to commemorate the Independence Amrit Mahotsav.

Construction of toilets in all government schools and colleges in the state at a cost of Rs 250 crore. will be carried out at cost. Construction of 100 percent toilets in colleges.

50 thousand rupees loan subsidy scheme for potters, blacksmiths, carpenters, sculptors, bhajantri basket weavers, vishwakarmas, mothers and other artisans from Karnataka Handicrafts Development Corporation.

The CM announced that 4050 new Anganwadis will be opened in the state. It has been decided to construct Anganwadis with priority given to the areas where there is a large number of landless labourers. Through this, 16 lakh family children will be given nutritious food. He said that in addition to children getting pre-education, 8100 women will also get employment.

He announced that if an on-duty soldier dies, a government job and compensation of ₹ 25 lakh will be given to one member of that family on compassionate grounds.
